4th Latin America Clinical Trials Conference

In São Paulo last August, the 3rd Latin America Clinical Trials Conference continued the ongoing discussion of the benefits and hurdles for conducting clinical research within the Latin America region. Topics such as drug access, regulatory timelines and trial outsourcing were presented by the regions’ experts and ignited passionate debate amongst the attendees. This was ExL’s first event held within the region and was an overwhelming success.

This February, the event returns back to Miami for the 4th running of this series. Picking-up where the discussion ended in Brazil and new to the agenda this year are topics such as: regulatory & ethical legislation changes in Argentina, Brazil & Peru; healthcare sector analysis and best methods for working with different research organizations; and a focus on clinical research quality through internal oversight efforts.

In addition, structurally the agenda will feature “think-tank” sessions throughout the two days aiding in promotion of open discussion. These sessions will be administered by multiple discussion leaders and will be a great opportunity to hear reaction and answers to your most important clinical research questions.
