Maximizing Relationships with Non Physician Practitioners and Influencers

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants comprise the most rapidly expanding group of Healthcare Providers in the United States. Experts on the healthcare labor force estimate that there is currently a 30% shortage in the ranks of primary-care physicians. This shortage is being addressed by Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

They provide a significant amount of the primary care and need to be kept informed of the new treatments and therapies available for their patients. Conversely, they are the most overlooked by the Pharmaceutical Industry. This conference will explore reasons why and propose strategies to address these needs. We are pleased to announce that ExL Pharma will be hosting the Maximizing Relationships with Non Physician Practitioners and Influencers event on February 28-March 2, 2011. The conference will feature presentations by Nurse practitioners from private practice to academia to the Pharma Industry. Presentations will focus on providing strategies for interacting with this community of prescribers from experienced marketers. We will also address the expanding role of the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant from teacher and caregiver to “Medical Researchers” in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

We am very excited to be a part of this first ever conference, bringing these two worlds together! We look forward to seeing many old friends and making just as many new ones. Please join us in Philadelphia!

Mission Statement:
To serve as a forum for Pharma to communicate with and learn more about Non-Physician Providers in order to build better relationships with this growing market and improve outcomes.
