Bryon Main, Co-Founder, Managing Director
Bryon Main is the President, Co-founder, and Managing director of ExL Pharma and oversees commercial development. Bryon is enthusiastic, determined and a fierce negotiator who is constantly on the move. The best way to prompt him into action is to tell him that a problem needs a solution. Bryon’s loyalty to serve his customers and the pharmaceutical industry is the main reason he followed his entrepreneurial spirit to co-found ExL Pharma in September of 2004. Bryon’s knack for building relationships and forming unique partnerships is an inspiration to his colleagues. He thrives on finding new and innovative ways to build successful conferences for his clients and bring them to fruition.
Boasting over 13 years’ experience as a pharmaceutical industry conference expert, Bryon is responsible for overseeing ExL Pharma’s marketing, sales, and production operations. Before starting his own company, Bryon got his professional start with the Institute of International Research where he oversaw the launch and development of key industry events such as the Pharmaceutical Marketing Congress, ePharma Summit, and MedEdCongress.
When he’s not running ExL Pharma, Bryon spends time with his expanding family, loves to sport fish and obsess over the latest tech trends and toys.

Ethan Denkensohn, Co-founder, Chairman and Managing Director of ExL Pharma is focused on financial operations, human resources and business development. Ethan has been providing consultative products and services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over 15 years.
After earning his BS in Public Affairs at Indiana University, Ethan joined Burns McClellan as an Investor Relations Associate where he learned to develop strategies and implement tactics for clients that included Alkermes, Cephalon, Cor Therapeutics and OSI Pharmaceuticals. While at Burns, he became the youngest person in the firm’s history to get promoted to Senior Account Executive and spent significant time providing client services around investment banking conferences such as Robertson Stephens and Hambrecht & Quist which would prove beneficial shortly down the road. From there, Ethan advanced his experience at Lippert Heilshorn while pursuing his MBA at Fordham University’s School of Business. Considering new opportunities in related business areas, in 2003 Ethan joined the Institute for International Research as a Conference Producer in its Pharmaceutical Division where he met Bryon Main and began forming the idea for ExL Pharma.
When unattached from his iPhone, Ethan can usually be found enjoying time with his wife and daughter. Travelling from his home in New Jersey to ExL’s headquarters in New York City allows ample time for reading, alternative music and tracking and evaluating investments. Once off the proverbial train, Ethan is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf, tennis and running, especially to his wine cellar to sample his growing collection.

Michael Goldberg, Director of Sales, brings 15+ years of high-producing Sales, Management and Business Ownership experience to ExL Pharma.
A BA graduate from the University of Maryland, Michael began his career in the conference industry. Entering in a sales capacity, he quickly moved up the ranks of the organization to VP, and ultimately Managing Partner.
