Senior Director, Continuous Improvement Lead

After attaining a PhD in Population Genetics from the University of Bath in 1989, Adrienne started her career in the pharmaceutical industry at Pfizer as a Data Manager supporting the filing of several important regulatory packages. She has worked for more than 20 years at a senior level within the pharmaceutical industry, successfully leading both Development projects and large groups responsible for the execution of global phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials.

She spent 15 months running her own consultancy business, In-Motion Management, specialising in Continuous Improvement and Change Management and has recently returned to Pfizer as a Continuous Improvement Lead supporting and facilitating teams and lines to improve the effectiveness of their work through application of Lean, Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Change Management principles. She is currently studying for her Black Belt in LSS.

Adrienne was awarded a “People Leader Award” in 2008 for the work she did in driving changes in process across Research and Development, empowering people to design and implement new systems that realised performance improvements including doubling of productivity and halving of timelines.
