Andrew Day is a continuous improvement leader, responsible for implementation of CI across global pharmaceutical development. Andrew joined AstraZeneca in 2005 from the Boot’s Company, where he developed his passion for continuous improvement working as a lean coach, delivering Boot’s manufacturing excellence and supply chain transformation programmes.

In his role as Continuous Improvement Leader, Andrew identifies and leads projects using improvement and innovation tools to increase quality and reduce cycle times, focusing on the critical area of Phase II productivity.

Andrew holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemisty from the University of York and is based at Astrazeneca’s Alderley Park site in the UK.
