Carly leads strategic marketing and corporate communications for CMI/Compas and its family of companies. In this role she helps introduce the company’s best assets to its client and supplier partners. 

She is responsible for all internal and external communications. This includes creating and executing the public relations and social media strategy, media relations, speaking opportunities, events, awards, sponsorships and other communications programs. 

Carly has more than a decade of corporate communications and agency experience, and previous to her appointment to CMI she was director of corporate communications for sister agencies Digitas Health and Razorfish Health. Previous to that she was with Mullen Public Relations, now known as The Lavidge Company, in Phoenix. While there she worked with Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, as well as with tourism clients, including a four-diamond luxury resort and a dude ranch. She handled the media relations for the restaurants, spas, meeting amenities, and tourist activities for both destinations. Carly began her career at Weber Shandwick Worldwide in Cambridge, Mass., where she handled media relations strategies for a number of clients, including Verizon Wireless, Lexmark, and Ocean Spray. 

Throughout her career, Carly has volunteered her communications skills to a variety of charities, including the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, the ACLU and Horizons for Homeless Children. She is a frequent guest lecturer for Temple and Drexel universities and serves on the AAAA’s corporate communications board.

Carly received her BA in public relations and marketing communications, with dean’s list honors and a minor in arts administration, from Simmons College in Boston. While an undergrad, she studied in Spain and England. She has also taken graduate courses in public speaking and creative writing at Harvard University.
