Christine’s intensity for finding visual and digital solutions to communicate intricate and complex science enables scientists, physicians and clients to see their work come alive.
While studying Parson’s School of Design, Christine found the perfect synergy for pursuing both of her passions: art and medicine. After receiving a Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago, she developed her professional career at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering where she worked as their Chief Medical Illustrator for 6 years. She then went on to lead a team working with groundbreaking physicians at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and later to Kaplan Medical leading the branding and visualization efforts for their print, web and educational multimedia initiatives.
Today, Christine leads IOMEDIA’s Healthcare Division and her main objective is to ensure that the end result of any digital initiative speaks to the appropriate audience while retaining the integrity of the brand or discipline. Her creative expertise provides the vision to enhance the educational value of the experience through high quality aesthetics and immersive experiential campaigns. In this highly specialized field and emerging market, Christine possesses the unique ability to understand the complexity and intricacies of high science, as well as transcend traditional media to deliver relevant, visually compelling digital communication tools.
Recognized as a forward-thinking expert in the industry, Christine has served on the judging committees for the IN-AWE and Rx Club Awards and has been a featured speaker at many industry events, most recently at the Association of Medical Illustrators’ Annual Meeting. In 2009, she was recognized by the Healthcare Business Woman’s Association (HBA) as a “Rising Star” and was published in Medical Marketing and Media’s (MM&M) for her “Private View.”
