Dr. Kim has over 15 years of healthcare experience as a provider, researcher, administrator, and educator. As Director of Health Outcomes at Eisai, Inc., in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, he was responsible for supporting value demonstration for neuroscience and oncology products. Previously he worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb where he led the health economics and outcomes research teams for psychiatric illness, HIV, and hepatitis B. A board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Kim was vice chair of clinical programs at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry. He received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his MD from Jefferson Medical College, completing his psychiatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He earned an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. As Medical Director of Adult Services at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – University Behavioral HealthCare, a statewide integrated behavioral delivery system, he was responsible for quality improvement, pharmacy, nursing, and laboratory services. Dr. Kim is a peer reviewer for several scientific journals, a grant reviewer for Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs, and a member of the Medicare Evidence Development Coverage Advisory Committee. He has authored over 40 articles and book chapters.
