Mr. Alford is currently responsible for continuous improvement of INC Research’s operating system – the Trusted Process – and development of the company’s operational performance metrics. Previously, he was the company’s director of gobal proposals.
Prior to entering clinical research, he served 26 years as a combat arms leader and in research and analysis positions in the US Army, retiring at the rank of colonel. He specialized in strategic planning and financial program analysis. He was one of the planners for the US Army’s organization-wide deployment of Lean Six Sigma in 2005. Subsequently, he was an executive management consultant for the Wexford Group, International.
Mr. Alford’s education includes a BA from the Virginia Military Institute, MS from the University of Southern California and a fellowship at Harvard University.
