Elizabeth Sozanski is Senior Director, Global Brand Strategy, and is responsible for brand and disease area strategies across the analgesia, neurology and psychiatry portfolios. She also plays a leading commercial role in business development and in-licensing activities.
Elizabeth has been with AstraZeneca for 13 years, and with the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. Her prior experience with SmithKline Beecham, Rhone-Poulenc Rorer and AstraZeneca includes senior roles ranging from marketing management, brand strategy, consumer marketing, medication adherence, and public relations. Elizabeth also has extensive international experience, including her role as the Global Head of Communications in London, where she lived for over two years.
Elizabeth has been featured in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The International Herald Tribune, published articles on several topics, and is a regular speaker at various industry forums.
