After his studies biology and international management Erik started his career in 1995 in the pharma industry where he got experience in international sales and marketing. In 1998 started within the Intervet/Schering Plough organization and served as Innovation Manager within the Core Innovation Team of the Dutch country organization. Erik stimulated innovative thinking by developing and implementing relevant tools, sharing best practices, coaching and training of team members on new media. He was also responsible for the Initiation of projects based on innovative concepts, from start to market introduction and monitoring the resource variables of these projects. Together with dedicated teams Erik develops new initiatives and processes such as Strategy Execution, Customer Value Chain analysis, Value-Adding Services, Innovation KPI's, Stage Gate Reviews and Portfolio Management.

Erik is also Founder and Creative Partner DigiRedo, which helps organizations improve internal and external communications and operate on the crosspoint of three major trends in business: new media, innovation and storytelling.
