Frances Grote is Senior Director of Clinical Outsourcing at Millennium, the Takeda Oncology Company.  In this role she has responsibility for developing company-wide outsourcing solutions that optimize the power of partnership relationships with service providers across the Medical Division.  Millennium is building partnerships with a limited number of global, full-service CROs and will be establishing similar relationships with selected other types of service providers in the near future.  Millennium’s organizational commitment to strategic outsourcing and supplier partnership is key to the success of establishing true supplier alliances.

Prior to joining Millennium Ms. Grote headed up the Clinical Outsourcing and Clinical Development Strategic Sourcing groups at Bristol-Myers Squibb.  She has been in the pharmaceutical outsourcing field since 1999, managing strategic provider partnerships for major pharmaceutical companies.  She began her pharma career in clinical research, then moved into clinical operations before becoming an outsourcing professional.  Ms. Grote has an MBA in strategic planning from Regis University and has completed graduate studies in biological psychology at Rutgers University.  She has four amazing children, an ever-changing collection of their pets, and way too many hobbies for her own good.
