Gary took over leadership of the US office at the end of 2006 having previously held senior Human Resources and Communications roles in a number of blue-chip companies such as American Express and Bristol Myers Squibb, where he had been a client and supporter of WorldEvents for over 20 years. Immediately prior to joining WorldEvents Gary played a significant role in growing a Biotech company from start-up mode into a successful mid-size Specialty Pharmaceutical Business. He has over 30 years experience of managing a variety of internal and external events such as sales conferences, leadership programs, investigator meetings and change-management activities largely within the pharmaceutical industry.

Gary’s role in the US office is to lead and focus the strategic growth of the US operation of WorldEvents. This involves reaching out to new and existing clients and building the WorldEvents US business. His prior experience of staffing and leading scale-up activity and business growth across the world gives him a tremendous edge in his current role.
