Gene Mack and his research boutique, BioInvest LLC, join Soleil to provide coverage of the biotechnology sector. Gene has covered the biotechnology, life sciences and specialty pharmaceutical sectors on the sell-side since 2000, and has been a senior publishing analyst since 2003, most recently at Lazard Capital Markets and HSBC Securities. Prior to joining the sell-side, Gene completed consecutive research fellowships in biochemistry at Cornell University Medical College, and clinical neurology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where he was part of a team investigating less invasive treatments for malignant gliomas and cerebrovascular disease, including aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and stroke. Gene received his BS in Biology and MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
