Jan Matsson is currently Commercial Alliance Lead in the Clinical Pharmacology Alliance between AstraZeneca and Quintiles. Following completion of a Master’s degree in Pharmacy he has been working for 20 years in the Pharmaceutical and CRO industry. After seven years at Merck Sharp & Dohme (Sweden) working in the areas of medical information, clinical trials and marketing he joined Omnicare Clinical Research in 1998 where he held positions in Business Development and as Country Co-ordinator for Sweden. In 2001 Jan joined AstraZeneca working with R&D Outsourcing. After 2002 he has had line management positions at Clinical Outsourcing in AstraZeneca Sweden and commercial project roles for outsourcing initiatives.
