Jane Halligan is now with Merck since Merck acquired Schering-Plough.  She had been with Schering-Plough in Global Strategic Sourcing since early 2000.   She has been supporting various areas of Marketing, HR and Administrative Services.  Current responsibilities include category management of North America Meeting Venue Services and Professional Services.

Jane received her MBA from Regis University.  Prior to joining Schering she was with Oxford Health Plans, negotiating their hospital and large physician group contracts.

As a Global Strategic Sourcing Category Manager, Jane is involved in the sourcing of projects, establishing preferred vendors, creating category strategies and managing supplier relationships.
