Joanne Hollenbach B.S., M.A., has been Chief Operating Officer of Cmed Inc. since March 2010. In this current role Ms Hollenbach oversees the day-to-day running of all aspects of Cmed’s US subsidiary, including accountability for both operational and technology related departments. 

Prior to her current position Ms Hollenbach has had a number of roles within Cmed, all of increasing seniority. Most recently she was US Head of Operations overseeing all operational departments, including and most notably data management and clinical operations. Ms Hollenbach joined Cmed Inc. as Director of Clinical Operations where she oversaw clinical operations for North America.

Ms Hollenbach has 20 years of extensive and comprehensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, from both the CRO and pharmaceutical company perspective. She has significant experience in all phases of the development process, as well as numerous therapeutic areas and indications. Before joining Cmed in 2005 she was Project Director for PRA International where she oversaw large full service global mega-trials. She began her CRO career at ICON Clinical Research as a Clinical Project Manager and rose over a short period of time to be the Director of Clinical Research. She diversified her repertoire by also working as a Director of Contracts and Proposals. Ms Hollenbach began her pharmaceutical research career by working for Rhone Poulenc Rorer and then Johnson & Johnson.

Ms Hollenbach has a Masters in Neuroscience from Temple University and Bachelors degree in Biology from Chestnut Hill College.
