Dr. Joseph Kim is a physician executive, digital entrepreneur, and technologist. He is a national speaker on topics related to continuing medical education (CME), mobile health (mHealth), and social media in medicine (see recent speaking engagements here). 

Dr. Kim is the President of MCM Education. Established in 1995, MCM Education develops certified continuing medical education (CME) activities in joint-sponsorship with accredited providers. He is also the President-Elect of the National Association of Medical Education Companies (NAMEC). Dr. Kim is an active member of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEHP) and he chairs the Technology Committee. 

As a digital entrepreneur, Dr. Kim founded NonClinicalJobs.com to provide resources for physicians interested in non-clinical jobs and careers. Dr. Kim is also a regular contributor for the Physician Executive Journal, the official journal of the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE). 

He also founded several websites focused on health technology and mobile health: MedicineandTechnology.comMedicalSmartphones.com, andMobileHealthComputing.com. Dr. Kim serves on the medical advisory board of Doximity and the advisory board of SearchHealthIT. 

As a social entrepreneur, Dr. Kim founded a series of websites and an online community for health care professionals with disabilities.  

Dr. Kim holds a bachelor of science in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a doctor of medicine from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, and a master of public health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Health.
