As Business Director of Universal WorldEvents Inc, Lisa Thompson focuses on global account management and delivering best in class meeting solutions to pharmaceutical clients. Lisa has over 17 years experience in medical events and has worked with a variety of healthcare companies, both in the US and Europe. After starting her career in the airline industry, Lisa moved into event planning in 1994 and worked for an agency specializing in global pharma events. She then spent 6 years as an Account Manager in the meetings division of a Medical Education Agency and CRO prior to moving to the US in 2005 to join Universal WorldEvents. Lisa is based in Universal WorldEvents US Headquarters in Ivyland Pennsylvania and works closely with the group’s European and Asia based offices delivering consistent meeting logistics solutions.
