Maggie Ayers, BSc, is currently a Sr. Director within Clinical Trial Management within ICON Clinical Research. Maggie has extensive research experience, including working as a Study Coordinator at Mayo Medical Laboratories and moving to a Clinical Research Associate and Project Management role at Astellas Pharma Global Development. While at Astellas, Maggie was responsible for overseeing global clinical research activities including Clinical Trial Management, monitoring and investigator site oversight. After 17 years at Astellas, Maggie joined ICON in 2011 and is currently supporting global trial management activities within the ICON Clinical Trial Management Team. Maggie is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals Nomination Committee, and participates in local Healthcare Businesswomen Association activities.
