In May 2009, veteran communications specialist Nancy Glick joined the Washington office of MS&L Group as Senior Vice President and Director of Health and Nutrition Affairs. A cancer survivor with over 25 years of experience in journalism, communications and social marketing, Nancy specializes in cancer communications and also uses her experience as a patient to develop patient education and advocacy initiatives in such areas disease prevention and health promotion, community health, disease management, women’s health, and elder care. Nancy is also responsible for developing strategic alliances with health, medical, consumer and patient groups to assist the firm’s clients in conducting health education campaigns and in building coalitions to advance health care issues.
Before coming to MS&L, Nancy served as Executive Vice President within Ruder Finn Washington's healthcare practice and in a variety of positions at Hill & Knowlton. A journalist by training, Nancy was a press officer at the Food and Drug Administration and served in the White House Office of Consumer Affairs as deputy press director and lead speechwriter. Among her many accomplishments, Nancy was recognized for excellence by the Public Relations Quarterly and was listed as one of PRQ's "PR Superstars."
