Patrick Nealon has been working in the field of Clinical Research for over nineteen years.  Patrick has an Undergraduate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and a Masters in Business Administration.  Patrick started in the field of Clinical Research as a Clinical Research Associate for a small start-up device company.  After six years in medical devices Patrick entered the Pharmaceutical arena by spending the next four years at Astra USA.  In order to gain a better understanding of the provider side of Clinical Development, Patrick joined AAI International (formerly MTRA) where he spent four years as a Project Manager.  Patrick also spent time at two smaller Biotech Companies where he was responsible for overseeing all clinical research activities.

Patrick joined Genzyme Corporation in February of 2003 and is currently Senior Director of Clinical Research for their Oncology Division in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Patrick’s group at Genzyme is responsible for coordinating and providing leadership to a number of complex, multi-national clinical trials at various stages of development.  Patrick has personally played an important role in the approval of at least two medical devices and two pharmaceutical products currently on the market.
