Penny Mitchell is a senior vice president and senior partner in Fleishman Hillard's New York Healthcare Group. She is a 25-year veteran of healthcare public relations and led communications efforts for numerous pharmaceutical brands in a range of therapeutic categories. She is also a co-chair of the healthcare practice.

She has developed integrated communications programs for pharmaceutical brands through all phases of the product lifecycle, forged educational partnerships and counseled clients through issues and crises situations. She has worked with many of the world’s top pharmaceutical companies including Novartis, Abbott, Merck, McNeil, Roche and Novo Nordisk, among others.

Prior to Fleishman Hillard, Ms. Mitchell worked in the healthcare division of Porter/Novelli for nearly eight years.
