Peter is currently responsible for clinical planning & performance, global trial activation and strategic clinical outsourcing in support of Vertex’s global development portfolio. This leadership role facilitates effective ethical and compliant trial execution and is additionally focused on managing the external resources, partnerships and field activities that reflect industry best practices to increase productivity and enhance the relationships with clinical investigators and sites.

Prior to his current role Peter has served as a Senior Clinical Operations Director for Shire Pharmaceuticals and a Director of Worldwide Development for Pfizer, Inc.

Peter has earned an undergraduate degree in Worksite Health Promotion from East Carolina University and a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the George Washington University.
