Redge Santos is currently Executive Director, Strategic Alliances – North America at Kendle International. She leads the North America Global Key Accounts teams in addition to her strategic partnership responsibilities with top-tier and high-potential global biopharma clients. Previously Redge was an ICU nurse at North Shore University Hospital, NY, and then started 20+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, beginning as a Medical Research Associate at Ayerst Laboratories, NY. In 1988 she joined the biotech clinical research division of R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute, NJ before moving on in 1993 to The Liposome Company, Inc., NJ as Manager of U.S. Clinical Research. In 1994, she joined Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, Inc., NJ for 8 years as Senior Director, Clinical Site Management before joining Aventis Pharmaceuticals (pre-Sanofi merger) as Director, Clinical Operations, US Medical Affairs in 2003. Post sanofi-aventis merger in 2005, she was Senior Director, Clinical Trial Management, US Medical Affairs, responsible for all aspects of medical outsourcing, including financial management and contract development for all clinical trials and registries; clinical supplies management for clinical trials, registries, and ISTs; systems and databases; and clinical trial operations. Most recently Redge served as Operations Program Leader for Tamiflu® for Roche/Genentech, NJ. Within her capacity there she contributed to development of strategic plans for assigned drug programs and provided leadership (in a matrix) to all Dev Ops staff assigned to the implementation, management and completion of a clinical program.
Redge received her B.S.N. at Molloy College in New York, and her M.B.A. in Pharmaceutical/Chemical Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
