Ruth Clements was born and raised in The Netherlands. Having never had the ambition to work as a pharmacist Ruth immediately
started in the pharmaceutical industry after completing college. First, in Sales and Marketing
for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg for Allergan. After successfully (re)-launching multiple products she quickly moved on to
a global marketing role at Organon (now Merck). When Organon moved their head offices to New Jersey Ruth was asked to
move to NJ as well. After 5 additional successful years at Organon, she joined Bayer as Global Marketing Director for Betaseron®, a drug for Multiple Sclerosis. Most recently in this role Ruth launched myBETAapp, a personal reminder and tracker for Betaseron® (interferon beta-1b) injections and one of the first product branded apps in the industry.
Ruth resides in Randolph, NJ with her son.
