Sean joined Genentech in 2006 as Senior Director to head up the new Development Planning & Performance Analysis organization that had been created to support the explosive growth in Genentechs Development projects. In this capacity, Sean headed the functions of Development Project Management, Resource & Capacity Management and Performance Analysis & Management. Following the Roche-Genentech merger earlier this year, Sean has chosen to take up a new role as Principal Project Manager, Operations Management, leading the effort to integrate processes and systems and implement best practices globally in the areas of Resource Management and Performance Management.

Prior to joining Genentech, Sean held senior management positions at Bayer-Schering Pharma and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development. He also has a breadth of cross industry experience, having started his career in the automotive engineering and manufacturing industry. Sean holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Economics.
