Sue Maino Vetuschi began her 19-year career in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry as a clinical monitor.  Since then her experience has spanned monitoring, clinical management, project management, training and consulting for both CRO and pharmaceutical/biotech.  Her therapeutic expertise is primarily in CNS indications including Schizophrenia, Depression, Panic Disorder, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Pain.  Other therapeutic experience includes Oncology, Cardiovascular, Arthritis, and Women’s Health. Her clinical trial experience has covered studies in Phase I through IV. Prior to her work in drug development, she had a 10 year career in psychiatric nursing.  With a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Nursing from Oakland University, she worked with a full spectrum of Psychiatric illnesses with a focus in the treatment of schizophrenia in a wide variety of settings including inpatient hospitals (both voluntary and non-voluntary), outpatient case management programs for highly recidivistic psychiatric patients in the community, and in a psychiatric emergency room in San Diego County.  For the past 6 years, she has focused in hands-on project management through her firm M&W Clinical Research Consulting with partner, Liz Wood.  She has served as a trainer through Barnett and as a speaker on topics in project management with the Drug Information Association (DIA).
