Tim Hunt is Vice President, Public Affairs at Biogen Idec, Inc.  In this capacity, he oversees media relations, product media, employee communications, and community relations for the company.
Mr. Hunt joined Biogen in 2002.  Previously, he worked in government relations for GlaxoSmithKline (1998 – 2002), the Washington, D.C. law firm Barbour, Griffith & Rogers (1997-1998), and the Washington, D.C. office of Massachusetts Governor Williams F. Weld (1991-1997).  Mr. Hunt is on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council.
Mr. Hunt graduated from Boston College (1990) and holds a J.D. from The Columbus School of Law at Catholic University (1998).
