Bill Struyk has been with Johnson and Johnson for twenty nine years beginning as a sales representative in Eugene, Oregon and progressing through sales management positions before entering the public policy and reimbursement arenas within several Johnson and Johnson operating companies. Currently, Bill serves as the Western Region Director for State Government Affairs with direct responsibility for public policy in three states including Washington, Oregon and Alaska in addition to the management of four colleagues in the Western United States. Johnson & Johnson was actively engaged in the Oregon legislation which led to the Drug Effectiveness Review Project as well as the Washington legislation which lead to that state’s Health Technology Assessment Program.
Bill currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Washington Business, Secretary-Treasurer of the Washington State Prescription Drug Foundation and the Chair of the Washington State PhRMA Task Force. Bill served as the chair of the Washington State American Diabetes Association’s Leadership Council from 2003-2004. In 2003, Bill was selected as a Washington State American Diabetes Association’s Father of the Year.
Bill and his wife, Stephanie, and their children live in Renton, Washington.
